The exhibition and catalog,&nbsp;<em>Clay\u2019s Tectonic Shift<\/em>, focus on three artists\u2014Mason, Price and Voulkos\u2014who, in the late 1950s and 1960s, emerged as sculptors, creating new works in clay that claimed equal footing with art in other media. Although each of these sculptors has been featured in solo shows or larger group exhibitions, this project is the first to feature their work together through key pieces that mark their emerging sculptural styles from 1956 to 1968.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition will run from January 21 - April 8, 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will be an exciting year for Ken Price, whose <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacma.org\/art\/exhibition\/ken-price\" target=\"_blank\">retrospective opens at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art<\/a> on September 16, 2012.
