However, what is also evident are the similarities between the&nbsp;traditional technique of&nbsp;<em>ukiyo-e<\/em>&nbsp;woodblock printinmaking and Gajin\u2019s process of stenciling \u2013 each involves an exact layering of color to build the desired imagery.
