On a recent trip to Los Angeles, Grant Stevens felt inspired by the beauty of the sun setting over Venice Beach. But what resonated was when confronted by this daily ritual, the sunset has this incredible ability to stop people in their hurried pace to take a moment and reflect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the paneled lenticular work above, titled Slow Horizon<\/em>, Stevens attempts to replicate a sunset\u2019s gradual transition from vibrant orange to the dark blue of night, and bring the essence of that quiet reflective moment into the gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
