Focusing on early organic and rarely seen \u201ccut-up\u201d paintings, this is the first time many of the works will be on view since shown at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art in 1965 \u2013 check out the image of Hammersley sitting amongst his work in that historical exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Frederick Hammersley:&nbsp;<\/em> <em>Organics and Cut-ups, 1963-1965<\/em>&nbsp;opens at L.A. Louver next Friday, September 12, 6-8 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, we\u2019ll also be hosting a conversation evening on Thursday, September 18, 7pm. E.
