The Kuntsmuseum Winterthur, Switzerland just opened a new exhibition by one of Britain’s most celebrated living sculptors and Turner Prize winner, Richard Deacon. Celebrating the artist’s mastery of material and form, On the Other Side focuses on sculptures produced by the artist over the last decade, and brings together works in wood, metal and ceramics that range in size from monumental to diminutive in scale. To get a sense of the show, and the huge efforts required to install his complex works, here’s a video of the installation process with commentary from Deacon and museum director Dieter Schwarz.
