The Denver Botanic Gardens will be exhibiting sculptures by Deborah Butterfield in their outdoor gardens throughout the summer and fall season. Formed with found driftwood, and then cast in bronze, Butterfield embodies the spirit and grace of horses in each of her laborious sculptures. When seen in the natural environment, the works appear to merge with the natural setting as if they’ve been there all along.
Deborah Butterfield: The Nature of Horses will be on view at the Denver Botanic Gardens from May 23 - October 18, 2015.
