RICHARD DEACON ARTIST TALK: FEBRUARY 4, 2013 @ 6 PM
KATARA ART CENTER (BUILDING 15), DOHA, QATAR
On occasion of Katara Galleries current “Encounter” exhibition, co-curated with the Royal Academy in the UK, the Katara Education Department has invited RA artist Richard Deacon for a residency program at Katara Art Studios. Richard will be with us from the 4th to the 9th of February based at the Katara Art Studios, from where he will be orienting and guiding Qatari artists wanting to improve their artistic practice and skills.

We are looking forward to presenting a new body of work by Richard at L.A. Louver this spring. His solo exhibition “Beware of the Dog” will be on view from 28 February - 30 March 2013.
