Studio Visit with Peter Shelton & Enrique Martinez Celaya

26 Aug 2015

This week’s Art Talk features KCRW’s Edward Goldman visiting studios of local Los Angeles sculptors. Strolling though Peter Shelton’s industrial, factory-like studio in downtown Los Angeles, Ed is strike by the bodily relationship between him and the gigantic, voluminous sculptures.

“Seeing these sculptures formally exhibited in an art gallery or museum is a pleasure, but experiencing them as part of the crowded and inspiringly messy studio environment is a much more personal and intimate experience.”

Edward also visited L.A. Louver artist Enrique Martínez Celaya in his Culver City studio.
