On Thursday, December 6th, 2012, from 9AM to 1PM, the Studio of Enrique Martínez Celaya in Wynwood will present a preview of several key elements for next year’s summer museum-wide installation at the monumental contemporary art space SITE in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Martinez Celaya is the first artist to ever have been asked to create a solo show for the 15,000 sq. ft. exhibition space. For these new works, which include two large-scale paintings, and two massive sculptures, the artist has relied on readings on the nature of memory and on his own biography to create a world that belongs to the imagination of children which juxtaposes sadness and melancholia against fantasy.
