L.A. Louver’s 2014 exhibition of photographs and drawings by Chen Man was covered on the Chinese publication Gallery Magazine. Recognized as one of China’s preeminent contemporary photographers, Chen Man bridges traditional and contemporary themes in her portrayals. Her bold compositions are often commentary on Chinese culture, but are also highly personal expressions.
