Impeccable lighting, beautiful people and perfect composition… sounds like the makings of a great David Hockney portrait painting, or an ad campaign for fashion designer Fred Perry.
In a perfect example of “fashion imitating art,” Fred Perry took inspiration for his 2013 spring-summer campaign from the work of David Hockney, and recreated his own version of Hockney’s famous 1970s painting Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy. One detail that we wish made it to the final ad? The white cat of course!
