From initial drawing to final painting, Sandra Mendelsohn Rubin’s painstaking attention to detail is evident in each stage of her work. Utilizing her adroit technical skills as a painter, Rubin meticulously depicts places she knows well or has a deep personal connection to, in this case the exterior of her studio in rural Mendocino County.
