
Deborah Butterfield’s horse sculptures come to life in the Denver Botanic Gardens, where a selection of her works are currently on view through October 18, 2015.
“They seem at home there. Unbridled. In the West,” writes Ray Mark Rinaldi in the Denver Post. “The artist’s source material is sticks, and this place is full of them with its trees, flowers, grasses and exotic flora of every kind.”
