An outdoor installation of Alison Saar’s sculptures are on view at The Fields Sculpture Park, Omi International Arts Center. Located in Ghent, New York, the sculpture park spans over sixty acres of land in the pastoral Hudson Valley.

Including two bronze sculptures by Saar, Summer and Winter, these works belong to a larger series that reflect the four seasons. According to Saar, the work “is about, of course, the cycles of nature, but they’re also about the cycles of women – our bodies and their maturations. Additionally, the whole project also came to embody, to me, the cycle of creativity.”
