Alison Saar is included in “Seen & Scene: The Imagined Landscape,” a group exhibition at the Descanso Gardens, La Cañada Flintridge, CA, May 11 - July 29.

The exhibition focuses on works by artists inspired by nature, and will include a life-size sculpture by Saar titled Fall, 2011. The bronze sculpture was originally commissioned by the Madison Square Park Conservancy in part of a series of works that reflect the cyclical qualities of nature and life. This is the first time the sculpture will be shown on the west coast.

In future news, a solo exhibition of Saar’s work is set to open in the fall at the Ben Maltz Gallery, Otis College of Art & Design. Keep posted for more details!
