



Here, we get a look into Alison Saar’s studio as she prepares for her upcoming L.A. Louver exhibition Silt, Soot and Smut. Utilizing a wide range of materials and mediums, Alison Saar has created a new body of works relating to the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927, sourcing inspiration from historical documentation, mythology, poetry and music.
