L.A. Louver founder and Director Peter Goulds recently traveled from Los Angeles to Europe on an art tour. Here, we are allowed a glimpse into some of his adventures!
Peter traveled from Los Angeles to Copenhagen in the beginning of June to attend the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art’s exhibition opening of “Ed Kienholz: Five Car Stud, 1969-1972, Revisited.”

Peter continued his travels to Bilbao, Spain to see the exhibition, “David Hockney: A Bigger Picture” exhibition…


Peter made his way from Blibao to Madrid, where he visited the Prado Museum.

Here he was taken by the works of Velázquez, and perhaps noted an influence in Juan Uslé’s works on view at the Galería Soledad Lorenzo.

Peter was taken with Uslé works on view at Galeria Soledad Lorenzo’s exhibition, High Noon.

Not one to sit on his laurels, Peter continued on to meet up with the L.A. Louver team in Basel, Switzerland at Art Basel 43.

The team in Art Basel after all has been installed!
Peter traveled on to London via Zurich to visit the studios of L.A. Louver artists Tony Bevan and Leon Kossoff.

He was also able to attend the exhibitions Richard Deacon, Jason Martin, and Guillermo Kuitca before his final stop in Yorkshire, England…
