As Richard Deacon prepares for his opening at the Singapore Tyler Print Institute on October 6th, he’s making a few stops along the way - including a lecture to high school students at Singapore’s School of the Arts.

In discussing the creation of his work “Untitled, #1,” 1976, Richard advised his audience, “Always make the consistency of one piece, but make its identity multiple.”
