
Joel Shapiro has been selected for the Gabarron International Award for Visual Arts 2012 according to the jury comprised of Mr. Marcos Ricardo Barnatán Hodari, Writer, art critic from El Mundo; Mr. Jesús Fonseca Escartín, Director of La Razón Castilla y León; Ms. Catalina Luca de Tena y García Conde, President-Writer of Diario ABC; Mr. Kosme de Barañano, Professor of Art History at la Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, who was chosen unanimously to present the Gabarron International Award for Visual Arts 2012 to Joel Shapiro.
