Gwynn Murrill’s installation in Century City has sadly come to an end, but her work can still be seen at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming.
An exhibition of works portraying severely threatened animal species is now on view in the museum’s Conservation Gallery, including this sculpture “Tiger 2” by Murrill. According to the show’s curator Adam Harris, “Artworks depicting endangered species, whether historical or contemporary, raise questions about humanity’s role in species survival or extinction. We hope that the ‘Conservation Gallery’ will help spark some of those discussions with our visitors.”
