Take a stroll through Central Park to see these powerfully commanding bronze sculptures by Chinese artist, Sui Jianguo – now on view through February 20, 2015. As part of his “Blind Portraits” series, these sculptures are enlarged from small clay models that Sui creates while blindfolded, setting aside his formal training as a sculptor to engage with the materials in an immediate and tactile manner, without preconceptions.
